Christina Paige is certified to teach secondary Science, Math, and English. She was an Army medic for 4 years before moving to Arizona and attending Pima Community College and the University of Phoenix.

I grew up in Washington, DC and I was lucky enough to have some wonderful teachers. By the time I was 15 I knew I wanted to be a teacher too. The only way to become like my three favorite instructors was to become triple-certified.

One of the things I like best about Youthworks is the agriculture program – my Earth Science and Biology students benefit from the crossover, and I get gardens and songbirds outside my door. I am developing a scholarship program with the Arizona Theatre Company so Youthworks students have the chance to see at least one play a year. My hobbies include reading science fiction and writing book reviews.
